We are Marcegaglia Plates, the Italian company
of the Marcegaglia Group specializing in the production of heavy plates
from duo/quarto rolling mills.
Every day, we transform steel into solutions that reach
markets all over the world, with an annual production capacity
of 1,000,000 tons.
At the heart of industrial routes
Our two plants, located in San Giorgio di Nogaro, Udine, cover a total area of 250,000 square meters, including 73,000 square meters indoors, and benefit from a strategic position with a port quay and direct access to the sea, enabling us to respond to market needs with efficiency and speed.
The availability of an internal proprietary rail network, connected directly to the national network, and the proximity to major highway routes allow us to meet logistical challenges with a focus on efficiency and cost optimization.

A widespread and well-established network of long-standing partnerships with leading global steelmakers ensures a secure and diversified supply – enhanced by the production of our Marcegaglia Fos-sur-Mer steel mill – which guarantees quality and reliability at every stage of the production process.
