From Marcegaglia Plates experience, a new generation of tool steels with heat treatment according to EN 4957 is born, in supply conditions: +U (untreated) +A (annealed) +N (normalized in furnace).

Marcegaglia tool steels EN 4957 are special hot-rolled steels with targeted percentages of carbon and alloys, designed and manufactured for particular applications, like the production of molds and mechanical parts, in which hardness, resistance to wear and deformation are essential conditions.
