HEAVY PLATES

Marcegaglia range of steel heavy plates is manufactured in the dedicated unit of San Giorgio di Nogaro (Udine) and in Marcegaglia Palini & Bertoli plant, also in San Giorgio di Nogaro, in the North-Eastern part of Italy.
The plants can count on a total capacity of about 1 million tons per yeart.

The fabrication of quarto plates also includes heat treatment to obtain an extremely wide range of metal grades and manufacturing standards, making Marcegaglia heavy plates suitable to the most demanding application sectors:
